The "allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung" (general building authority approval) / "allgemeine Bauartengenehmigung" (general type approval) of the ETICS and the Technical Data Sheets of the products must be observed.
Consumption

Apply the system-related base coat to the entire surface of the insulation boards in the width of the mesh in about 2/3 of the required layer thickness.
Insert the mesh vertically into the fresh base coat and embed without creases. Overlap neighbouring mesh by approx. 10 cm at the joints.
Work the mesh into the upper half of the base coat, which must be at least 4 mm thick. For base coat thicknesses ≥ 6 mm, work the mesh into the upper third of the base coat.
Fill over the mesh wet-on-wet to ensure full coverage of the mesh.
When fixing with anchors through the mesh, the anchors are inserted through the fresh mesh after the base coat has been applied and the mesh has been worked in. The anchor plates are then immediately rendered over ("fresh in fresh") or a second layer of base coat is applied.
The mesh must be in the upper third of the base coat even when a second layer of base coat is applied. The thickness of the reinforcement layer to be adhered to depends on the base coat to be used in the system.
