Application

Apply the respective base coat render in the width of the mesh to the substrate over the entire surface in about 2/3 of the required layer thickness. Lay the glass fibre mesh horizontally or vertically into the open base coat without creases and level. Overlap neighbouring sheets by approx. 10 cm at the joints. Then smooth over wet-on-wet to ensure full coverage of the mesh.

The reinforcement layer thickness to be applied and the position of the mesh layer depend on the base coat used in the system. For reinforcement layer thicknesses up to 4 mm, the mesh must be positioned in the centre and for layer thicknesses over 4 mm in the upper half of the base coat.

Note

The reinforcement is applied after all previously applied reinforcement measures have dried. This includes corner and diagonal mesh reinforcement and the reinforcement of e.g. internal corners, external corners or system edges with additional render or connection profiles as well as reinforcement with armoured mesh. Base coat with "Panzergewebe" (reinforced mesh).

The "Allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung" (general building authority approval) / "Allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung" (general type approval) of the underlying ETIC systems or RVS and the technical information of the products must be observed.

Disposal

Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities.

Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.

European Waste Code:

Dispose of waste material residues to EWC 101103 (old glass fibre materials) or as per EWC 170904 (mixed construction and demolition waste).
