Substrates
Capatect thermal insulating boards for façades, made of polystyrene or mineral wool, with factory-made grooves or grooves cut on site.
Method of Application
Apply the base coat into the grooves and the adjoining area on both sides approx. 10 cm wide. Press Capatect Bossengewebe 043 into the wet mortar using the Capatect-Bossenkelle 695 (groove shaped trowel); adjacent sheets should overlap each other by approx. 10 cm.
Apply the base coat again into the area of grooves to level the surface evenly and cover the fabric.
The mortar should be sharply scraped over the fabric between grooves.
Treat these surfaces subsequently in accepted application technique, i.e. apply
the base coat and embed Capatect-Gewebe 650 without wrinkles with an overlap of 10 cm and apply a subsequent coat of mortar (wet-on-wet).
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be paid to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.
In Germany: European Waste Code: Dispose of waste material residues to EWC 10 11 03 (old glass fibre materials) or to EWC 17 09 04 (mixed construction and demolition waste).
