Wall anchor based on a plastic disk with woodscrew for fixing Capatect ETICS B on wooden and gypsum fiberboards
Preliminary Information: Wood and metal as substrate for ETICS are not specified within the European Technical Approval Guidelines (ETAG 004).
Field of Application
Capatect-Dübelhülse 065 (wall ancher washer) for fastening EPS insulation boards within the Capatect ETICS✱ B. Fastening is additionally to the mandatory use of adhesive.
Substrats: Absolutely flat surfaces, such as chipboard, OSB, fiberboards (various binders), plasterboards, metal composite boards etc.

Material Properties
Wall ancher washer with
- anchor disk Ø 60 mm
- sleeve 25 mm long
- galvanized woodsrew
Installation variations:
- Flush with the surface for on EPS insulation board ≥ 30 mm thickness
- Countersuck installation on compressible EPS isulation board ≥ 80mm (100% setting control)
For surface-flush mounting the screw in the sleeve is covered with the included polystyrene plug. Coefficient for thermal bridge: 0.001 [ W/K ]
Using dustfree countersuck mounting the anchor washer is covered with the Capatect-Universaldübel-Rondelle EPS (Prod-N° 052/01) to avoid thermal bridges.
Set Capatect-Dübelhülse 065 after sufficient curing of the adhesive bed (approximately 1 day).

Substrate Preparation
Take care of an absolutely even (smooth/planar) surface of thermal insulation boards.Installation
a) Surface-Flush Mounting
Plug Capatect-Dübelscheibe into the insulation board. Plug screw into the anchor sleeve with commercially available torque tool and a Torx Bit T25. Anchor washer sits flush with the surface. Cover the screw with the Capatect Universal-PS-Stopfen.
b) Countersunk Mounting
Turn the screw carefully with standard torque tool and the tool attachment (Capatect Universaldübel-Tool Vario) into the substrate using a Torx bit T25. Note: No overscrew! The insulation board is cut circular and the anchor washer sunk 20 mm deep into the insulation board. Cover the anchor cap with the Capatect-Rondelle PS.
Note: Check the fixing of each anchor and replace unsafe fixed anchors.
National Regulation:
Place the anchor according to national regulation in number and position. Insulation board cuts might require variations.
