    Explanation:

No change = The test surface cannot be distinguished from the adjacent surrounding surface.

Slight change = The test surface differs from the surrounding surface only when a light source is reflected, e.g. by discoloration, change in color or gloss. No change in surface structure, e.g. due to swelling, cracking or blistering.

Moderate change = The test surface can be distinguished from the surrounding surface, e.g. by discoloration, change in color or gloss. No change in surface structure, e.g. due to swelling, cracking or blistering.

Cleaning recommendation: For occasional surface cleaning, standard household aqueous cleaning agents that are not dyed are suitable in conjunction with a soft, clean microfiber cloth. Before cleaning for the first time, the corresponding cleaning agent should be tested for compatibility with the coating system on a less visible area. Follow the dosage instructions for the cleaning agents and do not use abrasive products. In the case of tinted goods, a slight pigment abrasion may become visible on the cleaning cloth, depending on the color shade and cleaning intensity.

Use in hospitals: Before possible use in hospitals, the use of PremiumCare (active ingredient silver) should be coordinated with responsible hospital personnel.

    Suitable Substrates

Suitable for primed building material surfaces such as dimensionally stable wood components, wood materials, steel, galvanized steel, zinc sheet, aluminum, copper, rigid PVC, load-bearing old coatings in exterior and interior areas.

Do not coat the following surfaces with PremiumCare 2K-Lack:
Stainless steel, anodized aluminum, bronze, brass, surfaces exposed to continuous wetness such as showers and swimming pools. Roof surfaces, floors, balcony floors, surfaces subject to traffic. Limited and not dimensionally stable wood components.
Wood-based panels and plywood panels (e.g. laminated veneer lumber) in exterior areas.

    Substrate Preparation

Sand and clean the primed surfaces.

    Preparation of Material

Add the hardener to the base compound immediately before processing. Mix intensively by hand or with a slow-running agitator (max. 400 rpm). Then transfer to another container and mix thoroughly again. The material temperature of both components should be 15 - 20 °C.
Sand and clean the primed surfaces.

    Mixing Ratio

    Base compound : hardener = 9 : 1 parts by volume or
    Base compound : hardener = 100 g : 9.8 g parts by weight

    Method of Application

PremiumCare 2K-Lack can be applied by painting, rolling or spraying. In particular, when spraying, observe the environmental and occupational health and safety regulations for handling coatings containing isocyanates. For brush application, use suitable aqua paint brushes such as Orel-Mix, Friess Blueline or Wistoba 1528 Krex. On larger surfaces, apply the varnish with a short-pile (textured) polyamide (nylon) roller and immediately finish with a fine-pored foam roller or an aqua varnish brush.

    2) Always use Capacryl Holz-IsoGrund on wood with water-soluble, discoloring ingredients, coat knots 2 x.
    3) In case of powder coatings, coil coatings and other critical substrates, always test surfaces and check adhesion beforehand.

    Consumption

    Approx. 100 - 120 ml/m2
The consumption values are guide values which may vary depending on the substrate and substrate properties. Exact consumption values can only be determined by prior test coatings.

    Workability

    2 hours at 20 °C.
Higher temperatures shorten, lower temperatures extend the pot life.

Caution. The end of the pot life is not recognizable. Exceeding the pot life as well as over- or undercuring (too much, too little or no hardener added) leads to drastic limitation of the product properties.

    Application Conditions

    • Material, circulating air and substrate temperature: min. 5 °C (favorable range: 10 to 25 °C)
    • Relative humidity: ≤ 80%

    Drying/Drying Time

Lower temperatures and higher humidity delay the drying times.

    Tool Cleaning

Clean tool after use with water and wetting agent, e.g. Gescha Multi-Star. It is recommended
    the wearing of nitrile gloves.
